- How it's paid
- Applied at point of sale (assigned to your installer)
- Eligibility
- Any CEC-accredited solar install < 100kW on a residential or small business property in QLD.
- Deadline
- Steps down each January 1st — fully retired by 2031.
- How we claim it
- Your installer (us) deducts the STC value directly from your quote. You sign one form. No claim, no waiting.
Cheaper Home Batteries Program
- How it's paid
- Point-of-sale discount, scales with battery kWh
- Eligibility
- New batteries 5–50 kWh paired with new or existing solar. One per household. CEC-approved installer required.
- Deadline
- Subsidy reduces 9.7% per year until 2030.
- How we claim it
- We apply the rebate at quote time — you never touch a form. Nominal value 2026: ~$330/kWh of usable capacity.
QLD Battery Booster Loan
- How it's paid
- Interest-free loan over 10 years
- Eligibility
- QLD homeowner, household income < $180k, battery min 6 kWh paired with rooftop solar.
- Deadline
- Funding rounds open quarterly — limited allocations.
- How we claim it
- Approved through QRIDA. We pre-fill the application, you submit and finalise after install.
VPP Sign-on Bonus
- How it's paid
- Cash, bill credit or upfront rebate from your retailer
- Eligibility
- VPP-compatible battery (Tesla, Sungrow, BYD, Enphase). Must agree to limited grid discharge events.
- Deadline
- Ongoing — bonuses vary by retailer.
- How we claim it
- We help you compare AGL, Origin, Amber, Tesla, Reposit and Discover Energy VPPs and enrol you post-install.
Feed-in Tariff
- How it's paid
- Credit on your electricity bill
- Eligibility
- Any grid-connected solar system. Rates vary by retailer (AGL, Origin, Energy Locals, Amber).
- Deadline
- No deadline — but rates have dropped 60% since 2022.
- How we claim it
- We benchmark current Brisbane FiTs and recommend a retailer to switch to after install — typically worth +$280/yr.
Concession Card Rebates
- How it's paid
- Annual electricity rebate from QLD Gov
- Eligibility
- Holders of Pensioner Concession Card, DVA Gold Card, or Health Care Card. Stacks with solar savings.
- Deadline
- Apply via QLD Smart Service. Renews annually.
- How we claim it
- Independent of solar but pairs perfectly — we'll point you to the application form and never charge for advice.
